Conservation at corridor scale

Bayou Land Conservancy works with public and private partners to protect preserves along Spring Creek. The visitor trail and the regional greenway are related, but they answer different needs: one helps people plan a day outside; the other explains the larger conservation system.

01

Protected corridor

Preserves and parkland maintain forest, floodplain, habitat, and water connections.

02

Public experience

Natural-surface trails help residents understand and value the corridor close to home.
